Permanently, precisely and quickly join components into a sub assembly. The machine must be capable of running a variety of products and must allow for single minute exchange of tooling sets.

Create a compact ergonomic work station that would allow for a wide range of removable change out tooling.
Setpoint created this unique solution for the customer by integrating a 15.2 ton air over oil press system on an ergonomically adjustable machine base. This combination met all of the production needs for a specific product line and has become a standard with one of our customers.
Each crimp station has removable tooling that allows for a wide range of products to be processed on the same machine. Each tool contains speicfic part nesting and controls hardware.
A wide range of solutions can be developed on this same platform including simple pneumatic press systems, air over oil press systems or hydraulic press systems.
All press sequences are monitored with both an LVDT and pressure transducer to ensure even the tightest specifications can be met. SPC data may be stored and viewed on the machine's operator interface terminal or on a network system maintained by the customer.
