TORQUE ASSEMBLY STATION
THE CHALLENGE
Develop a flexible torque station that would allow for very quick model change overs and a nesting system that would be flexible enough to handle future model configurations.

Setpoint created a quick change nest system that could be changed out without the use of any tools and could be done in less than 30 seconds.
Each nest is quick change capable but also designed to be totally adjustable. By manipulating a series of contact profiles the tooling can be configured to accurately and repeatedly hold any product profile that the customer has or may have in the future. this feature makes this machine the ultimate in flexibility and greatly increases the value to the customer.

TORQUE STATION WITH AUTOMATIC SCREW FEEDER
THE CHALLENGE
Significantly reduce the overall labor costs and repetitive motion injuries associated with manual assembly sequences.
PRODUCTIVITY DELIVERED
Setpoint created this torque station on an ergonomic machine base that allows the operator to adjust the work station to an ergonomic height. The machine has an interface panel that allows for easy machine set up and configuration.
Each station includes an articulating arm that holds the torque tooling and allows the operator to easily manipulate it into place to install each fastener.
The automatic feeding system delivers fasterners to either the end of gun tooling or into a feeder tray for disposition by the operator. The feeding system is portable and allows for easy access for both maintenance and for regular part replenishment.
All tooling is custom designed and built to meet the needs of each specific product.
